A little help.
A better journey.
Everything you need to know about flying with Avyloft.
Getting started
What is Avyloft?
Avyloft is a flight companion for curious passengers. It helps you discover places along your route, prepare an offline guide, and keep photos and memories in a personal Atlas. The in-flight experience is designed for iPhone and iPad.
Can I download the iPhone app yet?
Avyloft is not yet publicly available on the App Store. We’ll add the download link here when it is available. You can explore routes on the website in the meantime.
Explore a route nowWhich devices can I use?
The iPhone and iPad app provides Outside Now, offline guides, Journey Camera and flight alerts. The web app lets you plan and revisit flights and manage your account. You can explore public routes in a mobile or desktop browser, including on Android.
Explore in your browserHow do I add a flight?
Choose Add flight, then search by flight number and date or enter the airports. Check the flight, airports and local times on the review screen before saving. Searching and reviewing a flight do not require a purchase.
Can I explore a route without an account?
Yes. The public route explorer lets you choose two airports and discover scenery along an estimated route. A flight number and departure date are optional. Public exploration does not save a flight to your private account.

Does Avyloft work in airplane mode?
Yes, with a guide prepared before departure. On your iPhone or iPad, open the flight and check the Offline guide while you still have an internet connection. Route information, place facts and pictures may finish downloading separately. Downloaded content remains available offline; flight progress may use a clearly labelled estimate.
What if my offline download is unfinished?
Reconnect and open the flight to let the download continue. Check both the guide and picture readiness before leaving your connection. Anything that has not finished downloading may be unavailable in airplane mode.
How does Outside Now know what I might see?
Outside Now uses the flight’s route and available progress information to bring nearby scenery forward. It shows an approximate side and direction so you know where to look. Actual flight paths, clouds, daylight and your seat can affect the view.
Is the aircraft position always live?
No. Avyloft distinguishes live information from estimated progress. When dependable live information is unavailable, it may estimate progress along the expected route using flight times. Offline does not mean the app is receiving live aircraft data.
When does the website show cloud information?
Add a flight number and departure date when exploring a route. If matching flight and forecast information is available, the results can show cloud context. An airport-only search does not assume a departure time or promise a weather forecast. Forecasts and actual conditions can differ.
Why are some places or photographs missing?
Scenery depends on the available catalog and the route match. Not every location has a photograph, and some images may need a connection or a completed offline download. The coverage page shows a dated catalog snapshot, not a guarantee of visibility on a particular flight.

Do I need an account?
You can explore public routes without one, and the native app can keep local flights and memories on your device. An account is needed for private web access, account sync and some purchase or access flows. Signing in does not turn on Account Sync by itself.
How do I keep flights in sync across devices?
Use the same Avyloft account on each device. In Privacy and sync, enable Account Sync and choose separately whether to sync notes and Journey Photos. Turning sync off stops new uploads; it does not remove copies that have already synced.
Can I save my own photos and memories?
Yes. Use Journey Camera or import a photo in the app, and add written memories to your flight. After landing, your Journey Recap brings the journey together. Licensed scenery photographs in a guide are separate from your personal Journey Photos.
Can I export my data?
Use Create cloud export in the web app for account records; that export does not include photo files. For content kept only on a device, use Export data on that device. Check what is included before deleting anything.
Export and deletion helpHow do I delete my account?
Use Account settings in Avyloft to request account deletion. Local data on other devices may need to be removed separately. Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription, so check your billing settings first.
Account deletion instructionsWhere can I read about my privacy choices?
The Privacy Policy explains local and cloud data, account sync, photos, service providers and website analytics. You control whether to enable supported sync options and whether to allow optional website analytics when offered.

Is my first flight free?
Your first eligible flight is included, with no payment method required, and does not renew. For later flights, check the available Flight Pass and Premium options before saving.
Compare plansI already paid. How do I restore access?
Sign in to the Avyloft account used for the purchase. For Apple purchases, use the original Apple Account and choose Restore App Store purchases in Plans & Billing. For web purchases, choose Refresh access. If a payment is still being checked, do not pay again.
Get purchase helpHow do I cancel Premium?
Open Plans & Billing to find the management option for your purchase. Apple manages subscriptions bought through the App Store; web subscriptions are managed online. Cancelling renewal does not automatically refund a previous payment.
Manage subscriptions and refundsDo I need separate plans for the app and web?
No. Use the same Avyloft account and refresh access in Plans & Billing if needed. The features available on the web and in the native app differ; offline guides, Outside Now and Journey Camera need the app.
